Pawel - Fishing with octopus, 2009

The original drawings were made with pencil. The next step was to put the black color on the sketch, with the use of ink and the brush. Colors and textures are made in Photoshop. It was important for me to get the archive retro look because it adds to the melancholic mood of the illustration.

It’s my lunch hour so I thought I’d give a quick update of where I’m at with recording and whatnot. The last two songs for the demo have been written completely and now all I have to do is record…which can’t happen for about a week since I’m flying out to Seattle for vacation. Yeah, I do the opposite of most people and go to the clouds instead of the sand for my vacation.

I’ll admit that I’ve been lazy as of late, but I’m once again ready to get things going. I mean summer is fast approaching and there’s no better time for concerts, and I want to get in on that action. Fingers crossed that things keep going well.

Oh and wish me luck on getting rough tracks down tonight so I can write lyrics on vacation. Until next time!
